Professional Work
My daydreams revolve around a desire for an escape to the sea. As a child, my dad sailed aboard container ships, leaving me fixated on the unknown nature of the traumatically deep ocean. Student Work
I embrace a principle of tinkering as I embark with my students who are trying to understand what art is and what it is worth. As students learn to speak in a visual language, my goal as a teacher is threefold: students will become empowered to learn on their own, they will be encouraged to take risks, and they will learn creative problem-solving.
